Don't forget - LOST II is coming up soon!
Expect to see these and many more intriguing presentations at the event:
Jason Whitaker, Director of Information Technology at Transylvania University, manages the technology needs at a small liberal arts college with the help of open source products such as Cacti, Nagios and Zimbra. Cacti is an open source network monitoring tool that provides graphs of traffic and other pertinent network data. See how Transy uses Cacti and some of its add-on plugins to monitor and diagnose the health of their campus network.
William Montague, an IP/technology lawyer at Dinsmore & Shohl, will speak about the legal aspects of open source licensing. Since 2008 there has been a significant increase in enforcement of the terms of open source licenses. Montague will discuss these recent legal developments and their impact on both creators and users of open source software.
